Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Tejas Gowda T R, who runs JobRelay ("we", "us"), Bengaluru, Karnataka (full address on our contact page). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use JobRelay.

1. What JobRelay does

JobRelay is Windows software that runs on your computer. It uses your own accounts on the job sites you choose to search for jobs that match your profile. It then fills in application forms with your profile and saved answers and submits them in your name, at the times you set. When a form asks something your profile doesn't cover, it either skips that job or, if you allow AI, asks Claude (an AI service by Anthropic) to write an answer from your profile.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and live in India. One account is for one person. Keep your email secure: anyone who can read your sign-in codes can use your account.

3. You authorise the applications

You authorise JobRelay to submit applications and answers in your name on the sites you turn on. You are responsible for:

• making sure everything in your profile and saved answers is true and up to date;
• checking the answers written by AI (Questions → "Answered by AI: check these") and correcting any that are wrong;
• the applications sent from your accounts.

Employers decide what to do with your applications. Sending them false information can have consequences for you.

4. Job sites have their own terms

JobRelay is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Wellfound, Hirist, Instahyre, Cutshort, Internshala, Foundit or any other site. Their names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which sites the app works with.

Each site has its own terms of use. Several of them, including LinkedIn, Naukri and Indeed, don't allow automated tools, and any site may limit, suspend or close an account it believes breaks its rules. You choose which sites to use JobRelay on, and you accept that risk. JobRelay keeps a slow pace, keeps to daily limits and stops when a site shows a challenge. Even so, we can't promise that a site won't act against your account, or that a site will keep working with JobRelay.

5. Free trial

New accounts get a free trial of 7 days, plus 7 more days if you join with a friend's invite code. No payment details are needed. When the trial ends, the app stops applying until you subscribe. Nothing is charged automatically after the trial.

6. Subscription, renewal and cancellation

• Price: ₹299 a month, shown in the app before you pay. No GST is charged.
• Payment goes through Razorpay, by card or UPI AutoPay. Your first month starts on the day you subscribe. If you subscribe during the trial, the free days you have left are not added on top.
• Renewal: the subscription renews every month automatically until you cancel. Razorpay tells you before each charge, as RBI rules require.
• Cancel any time in the app (Settings → Account → Cancel subscription) or by email. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Failed payments: Razorpay retries a failed renewal. Your access continues until the end of the month you paid for.
• Refunds: see the cancellation and refund policy.
• Price changes: we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your first renewal after that, and you can cancel before then.

7. Acceptable use

Don't apply in someone else's name or with false information. Don't share your account, try to get around our limits, or attack or overload our servers or any job site. Use our AI service only for your own job applications. Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app or our servers, except where the law allows it, and don't use JobRelay to break any law. We may suspend or close an account that does any of this, and we'll tell you why.

8. Your data

The privacy policy explains what we process. Your profile and history stay on your PC, and you can delete them at any time.

9. Licence

While your trial or subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own computers. We own the app and its updates. You own your data.

10. Updates and availability

The app updates itself, to fix problems and keep up with changes on the sites. A site can stop working with JobRelay until an update is released. We try to keep our servers running, but we can't promise they will never be down.

11. No guarantee of results

We don't guarantee interviews, job offers, a number of applications, or replies from employers.

12. Liability

JobRelay is provided "as is". As far as the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost job opportunities or a job-site account being limited or closed;
• our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that a contract can't limit, or our liability for fraud.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. If we stop offering JobRelay, we'll refund the unused part of your current month.

14. Changes to these terms

If a change matters, we'll email you or show a notice in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree with it, cancel before then.

15. Law, complaints and disputes

Indian law governs these terms. Please contact us first: most problems get fixed quickly. Our grievance officer is Tejas Gowda T R (support@jobrelay.in, +91 82960 82806). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. This doesn't take away your right to go to a consumer commission where you live.
